Refer to the current Denver sectional excerpt. One charted obstruction reads "6150 (372) UC." What does the "UC" notation mean?
Why: "UC" is standard FAA sectional chart notation for an obstruction that was under construction when the chart's data was compiled — a remote pilot should treat such an obstruction cautiously, since its final height or exact position may still change. Here, the obstruction's top elevation is charted at 6,150 feet MSL, standing 372 feet AGL, while under construction.
"U" alone, inside a circle, is the FAA's airport-verification symbol ("Unverified") — it is not the same as the two-letter "UC" obstruction notation, which refers to construction status, not verification status.
Invents a lighting-type meaning; sectional charts show lighted obstructions by a distinct symbol, not by appending "UC" to the elevation figures.
